Brief History

The Campbelltown RSL Club had its humble beginnings in a tin hut in Hurley Park, Campbelltown in 1957, complete with memorial obelisk. In 1960 its operations were transferred to newer premises constructed in Lithgow Street, Campbelltown and the hut was turned into a scout hall. The Club conducted business successfully in Lithgow Street with a major refurbishment being carried out in 1982.
In June of 2000 the Club's total operation was transferred to ultra modern premises constructed in Carberry Lane, Campbelltown. These premises were constructed using a mixture of tried and tested ideas and also completely radical technology. This formula proved to be a winner and was recognised by Clubs NSW with the Award of "Most Improved Club of the Year, Group 3" for 2001.
